These camshafts are designed for performance upgrades in Panhead and Shovelhead engines with stock valve train; stock-style tappets, pushrods and rocker arms. It is important to differentiate these cams from cams for use with the S&S hydraulic valve train upgrade kit, retro-conversion or replacement cylinder head kit for Panheads which use 84-99 style cams. These cams are all high lift with the exception of the 450S and require lift valve springs and clearance checks for installation. 450S Cam:.
